Is there somewhere on the website that will show me a list of ASX100 stocks with their dividend % and whether they are Franked of not?
A: Some of the broker sites will show you the list of constituents if you know the code, for example, on CommSec, XJO is the code for the ASX 200, XTL the code for the top 20, XTO for the top 100. You can probably access this on asx.com.au as well.
As for dividends and franking, any list will be historic (again, some of the broker sites allow you to do a search by yield). Forecast dividends only available from broker research. As for franking (which is less widely covered), look at last year’s level and then check for any update in the company’s result presentation.
Franking relates to Australian company tax paid. So if a company is not profitable in a statutory sense, or earns most of its money overseas and doesn’t pay tax in Australia, it can’t frank its dividends.
