Rights allocation of Elders shares

I hold 5,000 Elders shares & intend to take up my rights allocation of 1,250 shares. As you are able to take up more than your entitlement, do you think it would be a good idea to apply for more shares?
Also, there used to be a site called TradingRoom.com where you could get comprehensive information such as daily share prices for the last 12 months. It has disappeared so do you know of any other such site where you can get daily prices for the past 12 months on shares?

A: Thanks for the question.

You better hurry – the offer closes tomorrow (Wed 6 July).
Yes, there is a top up offer – which would effectively allow you to buy the higher of $5,000 or 20% of your current holding. So, you could purchase up to an additional $5,000 worth of Elders shares (1,471 @ $3.40).

If you want to get comprehensive share price data, most brokers (eg CommSec or Nabtrade) offer this facility through their website. Also, you can get it from the ASX – www.asx.com.au . Click on their chart package , and if you scroll over the chart, you can see closing prices/volumes etc
