WorleyParsons wins work on Exxon’s Hebron project

Engineering giant WorleyParsons has won a contract for work on ExxonMobil’s Hebron oil and gas development off the Canadian coast.

WorleyParsons on Wednesday said it had been awarded a contract to deliver topsides, the surface hardware, for the Hebron project situated 350 kilometres offshore from Newfoundland and Labrador.

Working with US engineering and project management company Fluor, WorleyParsons will provide overall project management of the contract.

The company estimates its portion of the service revenue under the contract will be $US360 million ($A352.23 million) over five years.

Shares in WorleyParsons were down 18 cents at $28.30 at 1202 AEST.
