VDM Group wins $30.6m in contracts with BHP Billiton

Design and construction company VDM Group has won $30.6 million worth of work with BHP Billiton.

VDM has now won over $130 million worth of new work this financial year, it said.

The company has signed a contract with BHP Billiton Petroleum for the design and construction of administration control and warehouse maintenance buildings at the Macedon Gas Project, located near Onslow in Western Australia, VDM said on Tuesday.

Work on the project will commence immediately and is due for completion in July 2012.

An existing contract with BHP Billiton Iron Ore has also been varied to include the main installation of a central accommodation camp at its Central REG Camp project in WA’s Pilbara region.

Work will commence immediately and is due for completion in August 2012.
