Treasury Wine Estates has extended its presence in New Zealand by taking complete ownership in the Rapaura Vintners winery and warehouse in the county’s Marlborough region.

Treasury Wine, which owns labels including Penfolds, Lindeman’s and Wolf Blass, previously had a 50 per cent stake in Rapaura.

The deal will lift Treasury Wine’s production capacity and provides further expansion opportunities, the company says.
