Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Wednesday, July 15:

AAC – AUSTRALIAN AGRICULTURAL CO – down one cent, or 0.7 per cent, at $1.355

Live exporters across the Northern Territory will be hardest hit by Indonesia’s decision to slash imports of Australian cattle, an analyst says.

AMC – AMCOR – up 35 cents, or 2.6 per cent, at $13.83

Packaging giant Amcor is continuing to expand operations in India, acquiring Packaging India Private Ltd (PIPL) for $US26.4 million ($A35.65 million).

CSR – CSR – up 10 cents, or 2.9 per cent, at $3.60

Building products supplier CSR says its outlook is positive as housing starts look likely to climb to record levels, with more than 200,000 expected in fiscal 2016.

MDC – MEDLAB CLINICAL – steady at 20 cents

Nutritional pharmaceutical researcher Medlab Clinical has listed on the ASX.

NRT – NOVOGEN – up 1.5 cents, or 6.4 per cent, at 25 cents

Studies involving one of the biotech’s drugs indicates it may improve the effectiveness of chemotherapy in children.

WBC – WESTPAC BANKING CORPORATION – up 65 cents, or two per cent, at $33.61

Westpac has delayed plans to sell its operations in Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands due to central bank intervention.
