Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Wednesday, Dec 10:

OGC – OCEANAGOLD – up 3.00 cents, or 1.44 per cent, at $2.11

Macraes goldfield operator OceanaGold Corp expects its annual gold and copper production to be largely flat in the year and has signalled costs may fall as much as 13 per cent.

ORG – ORIGIN – down 54 cents, or 4.76 per cent, at $10.80

Energy producer Origin has discovered a potential commercial quantity of gas off the Victorian coast.

STO – SANTOS – down 60 cents, or 7.23 per cent, at $7.70

Shares in energy company Santos have plunged to new 10-year lows after its credit rating was downgraded by Standard and Poor’s.

TPI – TRANSPACIFIC – down 2.00 cents, or 2.17 per cent, at 90 cents

Waste management firm Transpacific will take a hit of up to $20 million as a result of the grounding of its fleet following a fatal crash involving one of its vehicles in August.
