ALL – ARISTOCRAT LEISURE – in a trading halt, last traded at $5.39

Poker machine maker Aristocrat Leisure has snared a US gaming group in a $US1.28 billion ($A1.38 billion) deal it hopes will transform its business.

CTY – COUNTRY ROAD – steady, last traded at $16.36

DJS – DAVID JONES – steady at $3.94

Country Road has lifted both its annual sales and profit but remains unclear about whether retail mogul Solomon Lew will sell his stake in the fashion chain.

PBG – PACIFIC BRANDS – up one cent, or 1.85 per cent, at 55 cents

The head of struggling clothing maker Pacific Brands has quit amid a boardroom battle about how to revive the company’s fortunes.

WTF – WOTIF.COM – up 65 cents, or 24.62 per cent, at $3.29

Shares in online travel business Wotif have jumped 25 per cent after global giant Expedia launched a $700 million takeover bid.
