BHP Billiton has flagged a $US2.8 billion ($A3.76 billion) hit to its full year results due to asset writedowns in its US shale oil operations.
BKN – BRADKEN – up 18 cents, or 16.82 per cent, at $1.25
Troubled mining services group Bradken says it still expects its full year earnings to be in line with guidance, following a sharp slide in its share price.
CGF – CHALLENGER – up 14 cents, or 2.05 per cent, at $6.96
Investment manager Challenger has expanded its foothold in Europe by snaring a London-based alternative investment group in a $41 million deal.
