Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Thursday, July 10:

AQA – AQUILA – steady, at $3.39

AZJ – AURIZON – down seven cents, or 1.39 per cent, at $4.98

Baosteel and Aurizon now control more than 90 per cent of Aquila Resources and will move to compulsorily acquire the rest of its shares.

CWN – CROWN – down 31.0 cents, or 1.96 per cent, at $15.48

The NSW government has granted James Packer’s Crown Resorts a 99-year licence to operate a casino within its planned hotel development at Sydney’s prime Barangaroo South site.

NVT – NAVITAS – down $2.18, or 30.97 per cent, at $4.86

Shares in education services provider Navitas have plunged more than 30 per cent after losing a major contract with Sydney’s Macquarie University.

TPN – 3P LEARNING – down 35 cents, or 14 per cent, at $2.15

Software company 3P Learning has made a disappointing debut on the Australian stock market, with the share price dropping 14 per cent in its first two hours of trading.
