Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Monday, Aug 4:

KMD – KATHMANDU – up 10 cents, or 3.31 per cent, at $3.12

A colder than expected July has saved adventure clothing retailer Kathmandu from the earnings fall it expected.

NAB – NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK – down 39 cents, or 1.1 per cent, at $34.93

New NAB boss Andrew Thorburn has shaken up the bank’s executive team in his first day on the job.

RMD – RESMED – down 28 cents, or 5.08 per cent, to $5.23

Sleep disorder equipment maker ResMed’s fourth quarter up 20 per cent profit increase was not as strong as expected.

WPL – WOODSIDE PETROLEUM – down 60 cents, or 1.41 per cent, at $41.92

Woodside Petroleum shareholders are set to vote on a $US2.7 billion ($A2.92 billion) plan to buy back shares from Royal Dutch Shell.
