Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Monday, July 21:

AIO – ASCIANO – up 22 cents, or 3.83 per cent, at $5.96

Rail freight and ports operator Asciano has confirmed that it is in talks over a possible sale of a non-controlling interest in its terminal and logistics business.

BLK – BLACKHAM RESOURCES – down 2.5 cents, or 11.36 per cent, at 19.5 cents.

Businessman Joseph Gutnick has been removed as chairman of Blackham Resources and is facing legal action for allegedly not providing $6 million in funds.

SEK – SEEK – down 67 cents, or 3.95 per cent, at $16.30.

The head of Australia’s largest online employment website says more people will lose their jobs and will have fewer opportunities to find work as businesses increasingly replace labour with technology.

STO – SANTOS – down 6 cents, or 0.42 per cent, at $14.15.

Energy giant Santos has reported a 25 per cent increase in revenue, thanks chiefly to the early start of production on the massive PNG LNG project.

SYD – SYDNEY AIRPORT – up three cents or 0.69 per cent at $4.35.

Asian passengers are driving international traffic growth at Sydney Airport.

International numbers rose by close to five per cent in the first half of the year driven by increasing Asian passengers.
