Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Monday, May 19:

DLX – DULUXGROUP – down two cents, or 0.35 per cent, at $5.73

Paint and home renovation group DuluxGroup releases half year financial results on Monday.

ELD – ELDERS – up 0.5 cents, or 4.55 per cent, at 11.5 cents

Agribusiness Elders releases half year financial results on Monday.

GFF – GOODMAN FIELDER – down 0.75 cents, or 1.12 per cent, to 66.50 cents

One of Australia’s largest food companies Goodman Fielder has accepted a sweetened $1.37 billion dollar takeover offer from two Asian firms.

IFL – IOOF – up 12 cents, or 1.48 per cent, to $8.25

SFW – SFG AUSTRALIA – up 13.5 cents, or 18.49 per cent, to 86.5 cents

Financial adviser IOOF is taking control of a smaller rival in a $624 million deal that will create Australia’s third largest wealth manager.

LEI – LEIGHTON – down 35 cents, or 1.67 per cent, to $20.55

Construction giant Leighton holds its annual general meeting on Monday.

On Friday, the company agreed to pay $69.45 million to settle a shareholders dispute but maintains it did not mislead investors.
