Protective clothing and condom maker Ansell has completed its $US615 million ($A692.29 million) purchase of US-based BarrierSafe Solutions International.

AUT – AURORA OIL & GAS – down 1.00 cent, or 0.34 per cent, at $2.97

Aurora Oil and Gas has forecast a 47 per cent jump in production for the year ahead on the back of its Texas shale assets in the US.

FMG – FORTESCUE METALS – down 12 cents, or 2.02 per cent, at $5.82

Fortescue Metals Group says surface mining operations have resumed at its Christmas Creek mine, four days after the death of a contractor.
