Shares post largest weekly fall in a month

The share market has fallen for a third consecutive day, capping its largest weekly fall in a month.

At the close on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 15 points, or 0.27 per cent, at 5,531.1, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 14.6 points, or 0.26 per cent, at 5,532.3, according to preliminary figures.

On the ASX 24, the September share price index futures contract was 13 points lower at 5,534, with 35,785 contracts traded.
