Shares follow Wall St lower

The share market has opened lower after Wall Street’s recent rally came to an end.

At 1015 AEST on Thursday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 25.9 points, or 0.47 per cent, at 5,428.1, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 24.4 points, or 0.45 per cent, at 5,408.1.

On the ASX 24, the June share price index futures contract was 32 points lower at 5,427, with 8,430 contracts traded.
