PROFIT FALLS FOR CROWN, FAIRFAX AND WESFARMERS

HALF YEAR RESULTS

* Crown Resorts, net profit down 47 pct to $202m, shares up 9.8 pct

* Drillsearch, net profit down 60 pct to $14.3m, shares down 5.8 pct

* Fairfax Media, net profit down 86 pct to $26.3m, shares up 2.3 pct

* iiNet, net profit up one pct to $29.5m, shares down 11 pct

* Origin Energy, fell to net loss of $25m, shares up 0.2 pct

* Super Retail Group, net profit down 46 pct to $33.6m, shares up 10 pct

* Tatts, net profit up 15 pct to $140m, shares down 2.3 pct

* Virgin Australia, net loss narrowed to $53m, shares up one pct

* Webjet, net profit down one pct to $9.1m, shares up 4.1 pct

* Wesfarmers, net profit down 3.7 pct to $1.38b, shares down 1.6 pct
