Leighton subsidiary John Holland Group has been awarded a $112 million highway construction project in Queensland.

The company has been appointed construction contractor for stage two of flood mitigation highway works near Rockhampton, called the Yeppen South project.

The 2.8 kilometre highway duplication will include a 1.6 kilometre long bridge.
