Domino’s Pizza Enterprises says it is on track to meet its full year guidance.

Chief executive Don Meij said same-store sales growth for the first quarter of this financial year was 1.3 per cent.

“Domino’s has already opened 18 new stores this year, the strongest-ever start to a year for the company, and our new store pipeline is the strongest we’ve had since acquiring the European territories,” Mr Meij told the company’s annual general meeting on Wednesday.

“These openings include six in Australia and New Zealand and 12 in Europe, with the company hoping to open its 1,000th store by December 2013.”

He said that with this in mind, Domino’s was confirming its full year guidance of net profit growth in the region of 15 per cent and new store openings of between 70 and 80.
