Big miners, Greece vote boost Aussie market

The Australian share market has closed higher after a rebound from the big miners and Greece’s acceptance of a harsh bailout package.

At the close on Thursday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was higher 33.4 points, or 0.59 per cent, at 5669.6, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 30.8 points, or 0.55 per cent, at 5649.8.

On the ASX 24, the September share price index futures contract was 26 points higher at 5610, with 24,635 contracts traded.
