Australian shares open Monday

The Australian share market has opened a third of a per cent lower.

At 1013 AEDT on Monday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 17.3 points, or 0.34 per cent, at 5,068.8, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 16.2 points, or 0.32 per cent, at 5,084.7.

On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was down eight points at 5066, with 8,137 contracts traded.
