Australian shares open higher

The Australian share market has opened higher.

At 1013 AEDT on Thursday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 16 points, or 0.31 per cent, at 5,132.8, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 14.5 points, or 0.28 per cent, at 5,145.4.

On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was up 10 points at 5,132, with 6,625 contracts traded.
