The Australian share market has opened higher.

At 1015 AEDT on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 22.4 points, or 0.5 per cent, stronger at 4,500.1, while the broader All Ordinaries index was 21.3 points, or 0.47 per cent, at 4,511.4.

On the ASX 24, the December share price index futures contract was 23 points at 4,512 with 10,075 contracts traded.
