Aussie shares continue to fall

The share market has closed lower for a fourth straight day, on further falls by miners and energy producers.

At the close on Thursday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 22.2 points, or 0.41 per cent, at 5,331.4, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 21.6 points, or 0.41 per cent, at 5,310.6, according to preliminary figures.

On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was 21 points lower at 5,282, with 28,632 contracts traded.
