The competition watchdog has given the go-ahead for broadcaster Ten Network Holdings to sell its EyeCorp outdoor advertising business.

Ten announced in July that it had struck a deal with Outdoor Media Operations (OMO), which had agreed to buy EyeCorp for up to $145 million.

Ten on Thursday said the deal had won the backing of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

“Each of Ten and OMO continue to undertake activities associated with satisfying the remaining conditions precedent to completion of this sale,” Ten said in a statement.

“Ten will advise the market further at such time as this transaction is completed.”
