Being a Telstra only shareholder has worn a bit thin. I am still above my buy in price (luckily) but would like to move to a five stock portfolio, international businesses with average dividend yield in top 30. Have held Telstra now for about four years and have done well.

A little apprehensive about the banks (except MQG) and big resources, and a bit scared to jump from Telstra just for the sake of churning.

What is your opinion on TFC – buy, hold or sell?

Does anybody in the team have an opinion on whether IFM is still a good medium to long term growth stock and whether at current levels one should be adding more. Knowing that the Montgomery Fund is a substantial shareholder does give me confidence.

Given your restrictions on giving formal advice, I am 58 years of age and I have a SMSF in pension mode. Given my situation, what is your position/opinion on:

BWP – sitting on 43% capital, good dividends but unfranked.

CFL – sitting on 63% capital gain, good dividends and 100% unfranked

I am holding CAR and CCR in my super fund portfolio which I had bought for growth, but now wondering if I should sell and put the funds into shares which appear to be performing better, e.g. SYD.

Also, I unfortunately bought CCL just before it fell significantly. Do you see this stock recovering, or should I sell and take a loss to reinvest in better performing shares? I am retired and my fund is in pension phase, so income is important.

Macquarie Bank share offer – should we take up? Considering the share price was in mid $70 range a couple of weeks ago, the offer price does not seem great.
