Market manipulation

Is it still worth being invested in the ASX when clearly there is rampant market manipulation going on? is there any chance that these dudders will be pulled into gear by ASIC, or will it keep going?

$100k in blue chip shares

I have $100k of blue chips shares including Nab, Telstra, WOW, WES, WPL, MPL.

I have $30k gathering dust in the bank.

I plan to retire in 4 years.

Please advise your thoughts regarding some buying some other shares.

Thank you.

Retiring

I was hoping to retire at some stage.

If I were to take leave and finish end of July in a financial year (being on leave but being paid for 40 hours of work in the 30 days of July) does that count as work, or is it excluded because it is holiday pay and not work pay? Thanks in advance.

Income streams

I wonder if you could answer me this question regarding access to an income stream from a SMSF if one partner dies. Is the SF frozen, or can the other partner still draw down on their share of the the money while still going through probate?

Demerger of CYBG

I am a little confused in respect of your answer to the question about the cost base reduction of NAB shares for
the demerger of CYBG. The advice by the NAB to shareholders yesterday (16/2) differs to the answer provided by you. The Reduction Amount is calculated by dividing the Aggregate Amount (number of CYBG shares x $4.01) by the number of NAB shares held as at the Demerger Record Date. This will result in a reduction of $1.0025 per share from the NAB share cost base. If my assessment is not correct, I would appreciate your correction.

Technical question

My company stopped trading and the director is fully retired. What are the steps required to convert it to a special purpose SMSF Trustee company, without changing the company name?
