Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Wednesday, July 23:

AZZ – ANTARES ENERGY – up 0.5 cents, or 0.8 per cent, at 64.5 cents

Shareholders in oil and gas company Antares Energy, the target of a takeover bid, will meet in Perth late on Tuesday to vote on a proposal to sack two members of the board and appoint five new directors.

FFG – FATFISH INTERNET GROUP – up two cents, or 10 per cent, at 22 cents

The first “internet incubator” to list on the Australian Securities Exchange, Fatfish Internet Group, has made a positive trading debut.

KRS – KRESTA – steady at 23 cents
