KFC restaurant chain owner Collins Foods is hoping for a Shane Warne and cricket-led recovery this summer after it was bowled over by a disastrous week that included a 27 per cent profit downgrade.

DOW – DOWNER EDI LTD – up 10 cents at $3.16

The boss of engineering group Downer EDI says he will consider sourcing more products from China. This is despite the problems found in Chinese-built Waratah trains destined for NSW commuters under its troubled rolling stock contract.

HIL – HILLS HOLDINGS LTD – down 1.5 cents at $1.085
