The share market has closed higher as mid-sized mining stocks rose on optimism about China’s economy.
At 16:15 AEDT on Wednesday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 14.1 points, or 0.26 per cent, at 5,403.3, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 13.9 points, or 0.26 per cent, at 5,408.8.
On the ASX 24, the June share price index futures contract was 13 points higher at 5,396, with 21,186 contracts traded.
