The Australian share market has closed flat, recovering from a mid-session dip after the release of weak Chinese economic data.
At the close on Tuesday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 1.4 points, or 0.03 per cent, lower at 5,307.7, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 2.2 points, or 0.04 per cent, at 5,286.8, according to preliminary figures.
On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was 10 points lower at 5,256, with 20,210 contracts traded.
