Dear %%first_name%%,
The crash of MH17 in the Ukraine is an awful tragedy and our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones. I don’t think this terrible event should have an impact on stock prices. Like all geopolitical events there is still a risk, but today I explain why I don’t think stock prices will also crash.
Also in the Switzer Super Report, James Dunn selects a bunch of companies – which includes Telstra and Flight Centre – that he thinks will do well from the growing spending power of Generation Y.
In Shortlisted we look at JB Hi-Fi and iiNet, in Buy, Sell, Hold – what the brokers say, Sonic Healthcare gets upgraded and also today Barrie Dunstan examines why SMSF trustees are so happy.
If you want to reduce your tax burden, you will need to read Paul Rickard’s article, which explains the tricky withdrawal and re-contribution strategy and our regular auction clearance report finds there is still steam in this market.
Also check out a video I did with Paul Rickard last week on how to find a hot IPO.
Sincerely,

Peter Switzer
Paul Rickard and I got together last week to talk about IPOs and how to know when to try and get in at the beginning – and when to wait. Watch our tips here.
