Dear %%first_name%%,
If your head is still hurting from Friday night on Wall St, dosedose up on the Alka-Seltzer and hold tight. I think we need to wait till we see the big rash of data due out this week before deciding whether this is a buying opportunity. I don’t want to gamble on anything before I see the jobs numbers.
Also today in the Switzer Super Report, Paul Rickard takes a look at how our income and growth portfolios did in the month of May. Both these portfolios are up for the first five months and ahead of the market. Our income portfolio produced income, which is exactly what we expect of it.
George Boubouras is back in his new role as CIO of Equity Trustees and has suggestions for where you could find value – Sydney Airports and Transurban make his list.
We also look at the property auctions for the weekend just gone and Tony Negline explains how best to take advantage of non-concessional contributions to your superannuation.
Also, please contact us subscriber@switzer.com.au if you’d like to be featured in our new My SMSF section, where you tell us all about what you do in your SMSF. We’d love to hear from you!
And don’t forget to follow us – @SwitzerSuper and @PaulRickard17.
Sincerely,

Peter Switzer
